THE WORDS DON'T MEAN A LOT

PRE-SAVE DEBUT EP

LEAD SINGLE "NIGHTMARE"

Music

One Nine Eight originally began as the backing band of frontman Harrison Gray, gaining some traction around Glasgow with songs like “Caught Thinking”. After realising the chemistry between himself, guitarist Charlie Beaton, bassist Julian Lyon and drummer James Kealy, they decided to become an official group. With a combined love for 90’s grunge, nu-metal and alternative rock, the group have been smashing out indie rock bangers with an edgy, heavy twist. The band is entirely self-produced, creating their songs from a home studio in East Kilbride using only their own knowledge, resources and love of music.

As a group they have released 5 singles, appearing on the BBC Radio 1 Billy Sloan Show, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. With over 12,000 streams on Spotify the band are one of the fastest growing in Glasgow; selling out King Tut's and supporting the likes of The Luka State.

The band is unmatched live, with screaming guitars, head-banging groove and passionate vocals that are truly unlike any other band. The boys use their electrifying sound and humble personality to get the crowd going like no other.
